J80 Corporate fleet or match racing

Join us afloat for a day of sail training and sail racing onboard J80 keelboats. Mainsail can provide either a five boat fleet day for between 20 and 40 guests, or two boat match racing day packages for between 8 and 16 guests. The J80 is a versatile American designed keelboat approximately 24’ in length. It is extremely stable, offers plenty of cockpit space and comes loaded with a huge asymmetric spinnaker, which can be great fun down wind.

J80 sailing can be arranged from Hamble, Cowes, Queen Mary's Reservoir or at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy. Mainsail can also put together J80 events in Palma and Cascais; but we need a bit more time to get organised.

Guests will arrive in time for a morning's briefing before being divided into teams. The morning will be spent afloat with your professional sailor onboard, perfecting techniques and building your team, before competing in a small regatta of 3 to 5 races in the afternoon. Guests are normally ashore by 1600hrs.
