ClubSwan VIP reception – Osborne House: Using the stunning venue at Osborne House, we hosted a ‘summer evening’ reception for all the members of ClubSwan as well as Nautor’s Swan’s VIP guests. Whilst guests enjoyed a welcome champagne and canapé reception in the front gardens, Leonardo Ferragamo (owner of Nautor’s Swan) gave an inspirational speech to ClubSwan members. Guests were then invited to transfer to the Orangery, at Osborne House, where two stunning marquees had been erected and tables and chairs adorned the patio amongst the flower beds. The effect was stunning, and truly represented the ‘summer evening’ theme. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet supper and a live jazz band and talked and danced the night away in their beautiful surroundings.
Rolex Crew Party: On the final evening of the regatta, Rolex, the main sponsor of the event, asked Mainsail to organise a memorable and exciting crew party for the thousands of competitors that had taken part during the week. As it was the commemorative weekend of the Battle of Trafalgar we decided to theme the yacht haven as such. Giant cannons, battle flags and sails, and sailing nautica filled the area, and we provided a number of porchetta roast pigs with delicious accompanying buffet salads for the hungry sailors!! The meal was then followed by a great deal of merriment, dancing and celebrating to close the week’s activities.
The entire week was a great success and we look forward to continuing to work with Nautor’s Swan in the future.
